The streets of New York were alive and bustling this past weekend. Residents, tourists, all walks of life joined the celebration, rejoicing in the beautiful 70 something degree weather.
Christine and I went to the Chelsea Art Galleries and were quite moved by some of the pieces! We're planning to go back and feel inspired again. We enjoyed the rest of the day shopping, eating a late but delectable lunch, drinking Proseco and wandering the streets aimlessly, basking in the warm weather with no agenda or obligations. What good fortune we have; to enjoy the guilty pleasures of life....our escape while brief, proved to be too fun and therapeutic. It was truly a happy day... I know we will look back and think fondly of our little adventures in the city.

I am inspired to blog again....so I don't forget all the little things and remember all the big things....so I am going back in time and documenting the wedding planning process! I dedicate this blog to my beautiful maids - thank you for standing by my side and cheering me on!
Hi beautiful ladies,
You are all such an integral part of my life…you are all like my sisters (besides Karen of course – she is my sister!) But I wanted to let all of you know how much I appreciate your love, support, sisterhood and friendship! Thank you for accepting all of my nuances, flaws and idiosyncrasies and being my sisters and friends when I needed you most. I am so fortunate to have wonderful ladies like you in my life and although I don't say it often – or if at all, I am deeply humbled by all of you beautiful characters! Thank you for being the greatest sisters and the best of friends. It will be 6 months to this day that I will be saying my vows and I am so thrilled that I will have you standing for me. I am so excited to get the party started and celebrate with all of you!
With that said, it is my pleasure to introduce the Bridal Party:
Karen Koh (Matron of Honor)
Karen has been my role model since I was born! Karen is strong, beautiful, ambitious and a talented designer. She has been my confidante, fan and advisor growing up and I am so fortunate to have her as my older sister. Kare has always looked out for me and I’ve always looked up to her. Karen has paved the way for my future by taking risks and chasing her goals which I soon modeled after! After graduating from UCLA, Karen moved to New York to pursue her dream of fashion. She worked as a designer for Calypso and Ralph Lauren and also studied abroad in Florence, Italy. Karen met her husband Theo in NY and has been married for a little over 2 years and is currently living in Culver City. Karen is extremely hard working and is helping out with the family business and is in the process of writing her business plan – an idea that will launch and skyrocket in two years!
Thank you Kare, for being the best sister anyone could ask for!

Josephine Chu
Jo and I have been friends since the 2nd grade and we’ve weathered many years together! A loyal friend, Jo and I have a deep friendship that is unbreakable! From our tetherball years to our growing pains, we’ve managed to stay afloat and stick it through! It must be kismet because I’m connected to Jo for life! Jo is strong, stunning, and ridiculously funny! 3 years after graduating from UCI and working in accounting, Jo married her high school sweetheart, Mark. Jo recently gave birth to her beautiful daughter Audrey, (who resembles Angelina Jolie) and is continuing her career while being a fabulous new mommy! I’m excited to be an Auntie to the new addition to the Chu Family!

Candace Chung
Candace is Chris’ younger sister and is the apple of her brothers’ eyes! An intellectual cutie, she is a hardworking, city lady! A recent Wellesley graduate, Candace works as a Corporate Paralegal in NY. While she is on the path of becoming a lawyer, she is also exploring other career options. I say singing should be on the top of her list - she has the voice of an angel! Whatever course she pursues, Candace is on her way to become an independent, successful young woman! I look forward to becoming sisters with Candace and growing closer to her as our families unite!

Christine Kang
I’ve known Chrissy since the 5th grade and from the first time I met her, I was instantly attracted to her Bostonian accent and gorgeous face! Christine and I bonded instantly and grew up together while enduring the pain of adolescence. From our Elementary to Junior High years to our “meets" in Korea during High School, Chrissy and I reconnected as adults in New York. Our friendship never faltered and withstood the test of time and distance. It was through Christine and her husband Danny, who is good friends with Chris that I met the love of my life! They were our “wingwoman and wingman!” Christine has been my rock in New York and I feel so fortunate to have her here with me! A Smith graduate, Christine is currently working as a management consultant. In her spare time, Chrissy continues her tal
ent and passion for the arts while running the household chores and being the perfect wife to Danny!

Cristina Kim
Cristina was the most popular student at Whitney H.S – as ASB President, she ruled the school! Students were attracted to Cristina’s infectious laughter, intelligence and beauty. From the beginning of our encounter, we were like two moths to a flame! Cristina and I bonded on so many levels - we had similar backgrounds and family structure – we even shared the same emotions and thoughts – it was almost scary! We were the dynamic duo in our Spanish and Chemistry classes – we were "project partners" and always managed to pull off decent grades without even trying! After graduating from UC Berkeley and breaking many guys’ hearts, Cristina moved back home and pursued her love for children to be an elementary school teacher. On a random sunny day at the beach, Cristina met her future husband Jason and instantly fell in LOVE to the man of her dreams! Jason and Cristina have been married for a little over 4 years now and are parents to two handsome boys, Tyler and Chase. Cristina wins the award for being a superstar mom!

Veronica Suh
It was love at first sight! Vero and I met in our Chinese History Class during our sophomore year at USC. It was the first day of the fall semester and after we locked our eyes on each other, we knew we were meant to be friends! By a strange twist of fate, we had the EXACT schedule, (except for 1 class) but she instantly demanded that I change my schedule so that it could mirror hers. I gladly changed it! From that point on, Veronica and I were inseparable and were even nicknamed “Siamese twins” or “boyfriend/girlfriend” on campus since we did everything together! I would not have survived USC without Vero by my side! We even continued our attachment for each other by living in SF as roommates! Vero currently lives in San Francisco and works for GAP Inc as a Senior Buyer. She and her husband Insoo have been married for a year – August 17th will be their anniversary! I’m in awe of Vero’s beauty, sweet disposition, savvy computer and cooking skills – a winning combination!
